Challenge 10 Challenge

Post by Eric » Wed Jan 18, 2006 12:14 am

I was having some fun on this level seeing how quickly i could kill all four rabbits by throwing a knife at them. Then I realized that was a trivial challenge and started killing all four rabbits by knocking them off of the platform. This turned out to be more of a challenge than I expected because I kept killing the rabbits accidently. See if you can do this (I'm sure you all can). It is quite an interesting test of abilites because it isnt simply a challenge to kill the rabbits, moreover your goal is to simply move the rabbit while keeping it alive.

Have fun

They often jump off the platform without my help

I haven't played Lugaru as much as I used to the last..lets say 10 months :(
Now that we have external HD (LaCie 250 GB), I got the idea to install Jaguar on it, just to play Lugaru (and Ferazel's Wand XD) :P (for those who doesn't know Panther and up has some incompitability with....whatever, something that Lugaru (and Ferazel's Wand XD) uses).
ME LIKES ^^!
I formatted the Lugaru Skills part of my mind since it was somewhat corrupted by the evil forces of Forgetting. I started over.
Had a few days practicing now, and I can feel my power of slaying rabbits and wolves coming back to me from the hidden little chamber that I call
The Lower Back Of My Stupid Head, taking place in the small portion of
Lugaru Skills (I call this little cermemony The Fresh Install)
Yippie, I guess
:)

Tiger has issues? I run tiger quite fine. Aside from the occasional bad lag due to my machine being a quasi-POS-laptop it doesn't have a problem. If i turn down the graphics there are absolutely no problems to speak of.

The game works great for me on both Panther and Tiger. Without motion blur, though.

On-topic: you're right, it's a funny challenge :)
Favorite technique: reversing a knife attack, with the edge of the platform on your right. The opponent just looks incredibly stupid as he rolls away into the void...

btw, same goes for spin-kicks and wall-kicks: have wall/pit/tree on your right as you strike, and the opponent is sent flying into it for extra style (and damage, but style is what really matters, right?)

Oh..well.
NO!
I told [someone] that it started to lag from 10.3 and up, and [samesomeone] told me that it was because [somethingsomethingthigythingapplereducesblahblahsupport]!!!

On topic: My favourite is (still) to use only legcannons to clear a level.
Me loves canleggons!

legcannons are so damn hard to do though. I don't think I am capable of doing that. Of course I am relatively new to Lugaru so...

Leg-cannon right before bumping into your opponent. Works best if said opponent has already suffered heavy damage, or is just getting up...

But i favour wall-kicks. Wall-kicks rule. If you can't fix it, wall-kick it.
1) they deal nearly as much damage.
2) they can't be reversed.
3) they will rarely be evaded. (always flip right before the wall-kick)
4) they're fast. (repeat quickly and the stun-effect from the flip will leave all opponents continually helpless)

Actually they might be a little over-powered. I only use leg-cannons for incoming packs of enemies, for the Bowling Strike of Death

I do leg cannons by accident a lot of the time.
