Fan Art
Re: Fan Art
I just realized no one commented on Allord's destructoid image from week ago. Well-drawn and stylized and great. I guess the style is too far from Overgrowth to get people here interested in it.
Re: Fan Art
Hey thanks for the comments. And yea, drawing is a thing really takes a very long time to get good at, and I still have a huge lot to learn, and the best artists in the world too...its always possible to get better, and we have to keep practicing a lot to get better, its the only way...don't be lazy =P.
I recently got in love with raccoons =) so I painted a new one

I feel i should point out a few things to maybe work on:
1. the wrinkles in the shirt have little/no shadowing,
2. the feet feel a little.... off...
3. ITS EPIK!
Re: Fan Art
Holy crap, I just realized you can click on the picture to get a bigger version. The raccoon is huge and awesome...
Re: Fan Art
Hey thanks for the constructive comment. Hm well about the wrinkles shadowing, I dont know, perhaps I should give it darker shadows? The feet are off? Well I cant see exactly where.Flamespike wrote:NITPICK! okay, so myself being an artist (nowhere near as good as this)xissburg wrote:Hey thanks for the comments. But one thing I didn't like, that is more about design, is that I think he is a little too tall. The first one was shorter, more like a real raccoon which are little guys... But, well, learning with mistakes!

Re: Fan Art
I think in referring to the feet being off he's probably referring to the fact that they're flat on the ground, and possibly also the right angles of the one on the left of the picture (the raccoon's right foot)
Re: Fan Art
I did an edit of a concept drawing and made it epic warning, not for the weak minded, heart or stomached
