Re: Seuss Off #2 - The second coming
As a native English speaker, I had never heard of a boggle, so thank you, tokage, for telling us about it. I guess, you learn something new every day.

Looks like Tokage is the winner of this round, for the second time Let's make sure there isn't a third
Nope - pick one AssaultMan (Wolfire or Blog), so we know what to play with (the image can stay).Armored Wolf wrote:That is two words. Is it legal?

Done ... (I thought the word "blog" would be the obvious one to rhyme to since "wolfire" was only meant to describe the blog )
You should probably edit the rules it's very clear you can only start with one word (... it doesn't seem to be written there ...)

Re: Seuss Off #2 - The second coming
Yay, I win again. Go me!!
Although I would have preferred someone would have gone on with the Google one. There are surprisingly many interesting words with '(g)gle' in the English language: gaggle, giggle, goggle, joggle, juggle, raggle-taggle. And the image was easy to add to...
Well then, enough talk. Let's get this thing going again.
When the Wolfire Blog is invaded by frogs, it becomes a:
FROG BLOG
Funny enough I didn't notice until this picture that the words 'Blog' and 'forum' get added to the heading on this side.

Re: Seuss Off #2 - The second coming
I think now that the novelty has worn off a little it may be an idea to run the game for a couple more days, so that people have time to post their replies. I would have kept the Google one going but I had some work to do for a few day and then suddenly it was over
What do you guys think? More days or is 3 the right number (seems to be working quite well so far).
I'll have a go at this blog one later on...

Well, it could be an idea to extend it up to a week. The number of participants has dropped considerably since the obama-farmer-one. Someone needs to keep track of the time though, or this thing will die.
While we are at it. Wil, there are two mistakes in the OP, the caption for the possum-one is the same as the silver-one and Assaultman should be Starter and not winner (yet )

A week is a nice round number - easy to calculate when it's over All in favour? I've fixed the OP - thanks for pointing that out.tokage wrote:Well, it could be an idea to extend it up to a week. Sock frogs are acceptable due to hilariousness ...
i figure hilariousness trumps an actual rhyme ... especially early in the game ...
