Show us how you live!
Re: Show us how you live!
And here you ruined my thoughts on that every member on this forum was a basement dweller.
That's one hell alot of equipment, my puny desk would seem like a fart in the wind in comparison. Mine has quite alot of free space, seeing as the only thing on it is my laptop, its hard drives and other junk. Perhaps I'll post a picture of it later. Now I need to go buy milk for the household.
Arla for the win.

I also have lots of tech shit like monitors and laptops and desktop computers and the OGL reference bibles, webcams and lights and all that. Also. there's lots of weird other books, art, Magic cards, clocks, desks, chairs and a bed. Unfortunately, it currently looks like 12,000 anteaters had a disco night in here. So no photos.

lol. Confirmation that you're a basement dweller? That's nice. My opinion of you just skyrocketed, whoever you are.Freshbite wrote:And here you ruined my thoughts on that every member on this forum was a basement dweller.

Don't ruin my thoughts, lad. I snuck'em tightly.
Bright as day.
Also, that's one of my two workspaces. This one is at my dad's house.

I have no idea.
But knowing Ikea, that's not entirely impossible.

My desk is super messy ... I've got alot of shit laying around ... CDs, pop cans, old mobos, old hard drives, monitors, laptops, towers, power supplies, car stereos, speakers, text books, and about a gazillion other half disassembled things ...
But it IS above ground ... no basement

Yaay for cute drawings!
Did you know that the RROD problem is often covered by a special warranty?
If not, they have a solution to most errors here.

Yh, i know. but my warranty is void and i have another xbox, so im just trying to fix and sell this one by hand.
Its not too hard.
Re: Show us how you live!
I hade 3/4 of the RROD and I suspect it was a hardware error.
I searched for the Error Code which showed up when I started the console and appearently they had a special warranty for it, specifically for that problem.
Eventhough my original warranty for the console was since long depleted, I could turn it in and had the missing link replaced, get a free software update and 1 Month of free Live Gold membership. You could say that I was fairly pleased.

I don't have a good picture of my work area right now, so here's my desktop. My secondary monitor just has a wallpaper on it.
