zomgnubalert.
Age < 13?
Anyway, open paint, or any other graphics program, and make a picture with the dimensions equal to the avatar reuirements of this forum. When finished, save your picture to an easily-retrievable spot and upload it via the profile page on this site.
If this doesn't help you, resort to plan C: Ask Parental Assistance

Re: How do i make a avatar?
...when I read my older posts, I am ashamed.
Re: How do i make a avatar?
Yeah it's not because necromancy is any better...

Re: How do i make a avatar?
probably because he was ashamed of them, I've gone back and edited quite a few of my old posts out of shame.

Re: How do i make a avatar?
I know exactly the feeling ...
I used to be extremely optimistic, cheerful, with a limited vocabulary and a total lack of sarcasm and sarcasm detection ... how embarrassing
( ^ That's sarcasm)
Really, i think that we lose alot of our innocence after being exposed to the internet. It's kinda an interesting topic because I often think that our personalities change for the worse. New people will post replies and get completely chewed out for lacking knowledge or just general courtesies.
Well, how should they know? It's like yelling at an infant for not speaking.

Re: How do i make a avatar?
I've been reading my older posts on this forum and others, and I feel like I'm looking at someone else's posts entirely.
Especially the all-caps name. I'm not proud of that.
I'm actually quite tempted to change my name/make a new account.

That won't help any. We'll still know you as that forum-person who posted that embarrassing stuff and then changed their account/forum name because they were a pussy.MONKEYZ RULE wrote:I've been reading my older posts on this forum and others, and I feel like I'm looking at someone else's posts entirely.

I stand behind all my posts and replies, even the immature ones (especially the immature ones). Its interesting going back to old threads and seeing how I've changed or matured (or not...) as the years go by. You can, of course, avoid some "embarrassment" by spell checking and reviewing your posts and replies. This is what the "Preview" button is for.

Oh man, I preview that shit 3 times at least, especially for long posts. If I don't, I get a sinking feeling, right as I click submit, that I just brought something inexcusably asinine into the world.

It's not because I'm a pussy or that I want to hide from who I was, but for the fact that my affection for monkeys has since deteriorated, and my all-caps name annoys me.Grayswandir wrote:That won't help any. I don't care if people know who I was, and I actually like when someone recognizes I'm not the 11 year old I was when I joined.
Personally, I couldn't care less if you back up your immature posts, but I'm different, and I'd like to distance myself from how I used to be.
I'm just keeping this name and this account mostly for the nostalgic value and perhaps for the fact that I'm lazy when it comes to that stuff, especially setting up a new e-mail as I assume I'd have to do.
