Steve Job's death
Steve Job's death
How do you feel about this? His health might have been declining but he JUST retired. I kind of feel bad for him.

he retired because he had pancreatic cancer, getting better from that is kind of rare.

I was kinda sad to hear it, but as Roland said, pancreatic cancer is kind of rare to recover from. The life expectancy is somewhere around 5 years with something like a 20% chance of recovering from it, at least that's what the TV people reckon...
Anyway, in the long run, he was a genius and invented some of the most iconic and memorable technology currently in existence, no matter which way you cut that, it's sad that he's dead.

Re: Steve Job's death
frankly, I don't give a damn. Lost of people died the same day. He hasn't and changed my life. Making it exasperating when I had to use my flatmate's mac when we had very little internet
He was a great man and bla bla bla. He was a business man, a successfull one, that is, meaning he crushed people.
But to be sad is the problem of his family and relatives (in my humble indie opinion)

Re: Steve Job's death
Yea, id be much more upset if woz died to be honest.
Steve is mainly the business guy, Woz was the brains behind actually making the first apple products. Like, he actually invented them.
Now you just cant say that ... there are so many minds working on a specific piece of technology that no one person can say "yea, i made the iPhone."
Not to mention steve drove apple to where it is today ... which is ... too much glamor to be honest.
Woz is ... practical.

Looks like he didn't get his apple a day :L
Let's look at the bright side, at least they made an iCloud, not an iHell. Though an iGround would seem more appropriate.

Co-founder of Pixar is much more glamorous than the fruit thingy, but it doesn't change my feeling about this. People die and that's it. I would have felt concerned if he was one of my relatives or a friend; he was not.
