A Free FUN RPG I can play on my MAC
Any suggestions?
old, new, whatever. i've been in the mood lately.
also it doesn't have to be absolutely free, just no too pricey....

There's always RuneScape.
Also, Minions of Mirth.

Anything by Spiderweb Software is pretty good. Assuming you don't mind the classic-RPG style of the games...and the lack of fancy graphics...and paying money.

Hah, yes, the magnificent inspirational piece to the infamous "dot dot dot" review.
A lovely little RPG with surprisingly little grinding, even if the gameplay is a little monotonous.

Fuck Runescape. The only Runescape related thing I'm pumped for is RS2006. And that's mostly for the nostalgia and for me and my pals to go screw around in.
Real of a Mad God is surprisingly fun for an almost-dinky web RPG. I think I got a kick out of it because it's a personal challenge game. You can roll around popping snakes... or you can go kill a god damn dragon... and a golem... and a hobbit sorcerer... all at once
EDIT: Wait... I see now. This whole thread is a sham.
Underthedeep is just trying to make me feel guilty for giving up on a Mac port of Dominance so easily. Ah, you sneaky little punk. If I didn't like you so much, I'd put my foot through my monitor and kick your ass right now.

Hell with everyone who's saying Runescape is crap, I played that game for 3 years before I finally got a computer that could run World of Warcraft and damnit, I enjoyed those 3 years.

Those games have rather long demo versions. They explain it much better than I could. They are traditional, exploration-heavy RPGs with old-school graphics and mentality. That includes optional bosses you can't win against when you first meet them.
The dev's blog has some game design thoughts I quite like:

Re: A Free FUN RPG I can play on my MAC
I can't stand "traditional" MMOs such as WoW, RS, and so on and so forth because regardless of the graphics, the social system, the music, the "story", etc, gameplay essentially boils down to micromanaging your equipment and skill set, then walking up to enemies and clicking on them, with the victor being nearly solely decided by whose stats are better.
TL;DR ---> Monotonous battles do not want
I'm a sucker for action MMOs (of which there are sadly few of) such as Spiral Knights, Vindictus, and Dragon Nest, the latter-most coming closest to my ideal MMO. I don't know my exact playtime stats off the bat, but I'd wager that I've easily put 150+ hours into it from playing it over a 7-8 month period.
