here is my idea... there can be a deathmatch with only two people HEAR ME OUT! but each person gets 6 rabbits on there team :) that is my amazing idea. it is kind of like a war game that way  i am the designer of impressive world and this is exactly the problem we have is that the lagg is a little anoying, so we used Raknet and all our lagg is mostly gone. and besides who wouldent want a ninja bunny RP? DT FTW!

Fantastic to see streetfighter/arena style combat in the game, just as most of us had hoped. The videos from the expo show clearly how cool the multiplayer can work in overgrowth. 10+ players all glued to the sceen watching 1v1 fighting. Even in an unfinished state is obviously a lot of fun.

This should quiet the skeptics and multiplayer haters... but of course it won't

Amazing work!!

Gonna feed the troll, or at least troll-esque user, guise. Stand back.

There were never that many haters or skeptics. It was most of us saying that
A: "Multiplayer would not exponentially increase sales, thus rendering it almost entirely a waste of dev time."

B: "I would not enjoy multiplayer. It would not be worth the dev time to me, as a customer."

C: "It is already planned and the devs are interested. There is even old videos of Lugaru 2 multiplayer. Just wait and see, but don't get your hopes up to high as it is likely to be crushed."

Me, specifically. And it went something like: "David just implemented co-op. See? The devs are interested and would like to, but it's still not guaranteed as the game is primarily single player and those are the most important components to finish first."

Now, quick, someone lock the thread before the previous necro post takes full effect!

If I may attempt to make a closing statement:

polyoptics, go away. We were bored of your snarky-ass posts months ago.

This game has a unique combat system. Would be a shame not to use it at least an in simple 1 on 1 combat. I've thought about a system like this for more than 5 years and I finally found someone who made it possible. I hope there's a multiplayer coming.

You know why it's so good? 'Cause you dont need combos. Just reflex and this will provide good epic fights. Like kung fu fights of old movies :D

Actually, there's this trippy thing that I can't discuss here where you can setup local co-op and play with a pal. Co-op or versus, actually, depending on what characters each is playing as.

It's funny you mention that it reminds you of old kung fu movies. That's exactly what David was aiming for. Well, Mr. Rosen. It seems your life's goal is complete, you may now self terminate.

Right about what? No one is saying multiplayer would suck, some people want it, some people don't care, but most everyone agrees that YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE.

It doesn't matter how awesome it would be, if it can't be done, or it's impractical to do, or if the developers just decide not to, it won't happen. If it can be done, and the developers want it, which it seems they do, then it will happen.

you know, whenever I see two trollish things feeding each other I feel like an african kid watching a hot dog eating contest. (and not one of those rich african kids who gets to be an exchange student, I'm talking like those kids who get water buffalo donated to them so they can build a house of it's crap.)

Even though I feel like that was probably half about me, lol. Roland, you can't understand, though. This guy speaks in winks and eyerolls.
