Randomness: Origins

Post by Assaultman67 » Wed Jun 20, 2012 5:24 pm

A prequel for a randomness thread!

This is surely the epitome of random in the randomness series.

Now I feel the urge to go back in time 6 years and make a sequel to the randomness thread.

Already done, somebody felt that randomness was too big and tried to make a sequel. it died, as it deserved.

But if I went back in time before the original and made a sequel, the sequel that died would never have happened. It would probably create a paradox, since the randomness thread would never reach its current glory, and so a prequel and then(or rather earlier) a sequel would not need to be made, and then the loop would continue, and time would implode.

...ll we know is that when my kind entered The Between we numbered in the millions. Within a heartbeat we were dying by the hundreds. In desperation, the survivors began to weave the flesh of their unborn young, reshaping their bodies while still in the womb. Those first infants born into the abyss were my true ancestors. With each generation of brutally altered offspring we became ever less like our hapless progenitors. You see the results clear before you; a living, misshapen weapon of muscle and fat and bone. If you think me a horror, it is only because I hail from a place horrible beyond your comprehen...

...

What?

It's random. He said randomness.

Hell, it even includes a theme of origins... which was totally not a complete accident that I only just noticed right this second and am now acknowledging with a hasty edit.

Wanna hear me explain why in fact [X politician] is similar in policy, morals, and skill in fine art to Adolf Hitler?

I'm glad you liked it.

I pretty much just copy-pasted a snatch of something that I was writing when I saw this thread.
