It comes from Mork & Mindy I think.. so actually it's about as far from "hip" as you can get :p

Don't know what Mork & Mindy is, but I'm from Ireland and am sixteen, so I assume it's some old American show. "Shazbot" sounds pretty cool, though. :P

Shazbot?

I know shazbot from Tribes. You kill someone, insult someone, or lose, and your guy will say shazbot. And of course you can spam the chat with the computer's voice saying shazbot over and over again. From my understanding shazbot means crap from a cyborg, usually the kind that shoots spinfusers at you.

Oh yeah, Mork and Mindy! That's when Robin Williams first got into the Hollywood dealy. They made a theatrical biography on Robin Williams broadcasted on TV, that's how I know it at least.

(i'm not dead AND on topic! wow!)
im gonna unload some questions that have been pooilng in the back of my mind this summer:
-whats the deal with ranged weapons/ are they auto target like before or something like a FPS?
-Is there still going to be modular aromor?
-to what level can you really interact with the environment?
-are the weapons more RPG-like (diablo series) or more like pick-ups (L1 and unreal tourney)

-Ranged weapons are still undecided. You will still be able to throw your knife at least, for sure, though it will probably be less lethal than in Lugaru 1.

-There is still going to be very modular armor.

-Pretty much anything in the environment will be useful and destroyable, but Turner will not be starting a farm and raising chickens or anything like that; a lot of the speculation on this topic is a bit far from the focus of Lugaru. However, you will be able to wash/dye clothes, cut branches off trees, and so on.

-The weapons will be sort of in-between those two extremes; in the middle of a big fight you will probably want to just use whatever weapon is near if you lose yours, but you can also get custom-made weapons that you will want to take care of and improve. However, there will be no broadswords of speed +2 or anything like that.

Wow, that sounds awesome, but it would kind of suck if the armor was just a flat texture directly on Turner's body.

Maybe it'll be a model added to the group "TurnerGroup" or something, that is also added to the skeleton mesh and/or collision detection with turner's body, or at least on armour, but it'd look rather amazing if put on clothing...

Clothes will not be flat textures on Turner anymore.

Quick question: what will be the maximum resolution for Lugaru 2? I've got a 30" that's 2560x1600, and when I try to run Halo at that res, it's hella laggy.
