Howdy
Howdy
Howdy.
Some of you may remember be as DtC, perhaps? I was the annoying guy... Well anyways, just for reference, I'm back. (Like the perpetually irksome neighbor with the bad toupé.)
I deleted the e-mail account I used to originally sign up, so I figured why not just re-register. Any mods that remember me (Hope the count is zero...) can go ahead and delete the account.
Just dropped by to say I'd had a look at the Wolfire dev blog. Lugaru 2's looking good! Nice fur shader on turner!
Out of curiosity, was the game named "Lugaru" because of the french word "Loup Garou", meaning werewolf? I think I asked that before, a couple of years ago (back when I was still on these forums), but I can't remember the response.
Anyways, bonjour, hello, hola!

I don't know how, but anyways I just stumbled on an old interview while looking for something (which I didn't find).
So there you have it.David wrote:The name comes from the French "loup garou" which means "werewolf". I picked this name because the main character is a rabbit who has changed roles from the hunted to the hunter.
Ah, I had suspected as much for a long while. Never confirmed it though.Zantalos wrote:I don't know how, but anyways I just stumbled on an old interview while looking for something (which I didn't find). So there you have it.David wrote:The name comes from the French "loup garou" which means "werewolf".
