If you find any bugs, please email a full description along with your system specs to [email protected].
*NOTE* Please remember that these are unofficial alphas and they do not represent a finished product. They are not polished builds, just raw development dumps.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
Nice! The new AI works great for stealth levels! I look forward to making more levels with the new "companion" feature as well as the new AI. Great work, Anton!

Not sure what he had to do with it, but there's no reason not to praise him.Corinator wrote:Great work, Anton!

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
Sorry if I sound stupid, but how do I add this to Steam?
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
Go to your Humble Store page, click on the button that has your Steam keys and redeem it from there.sakiskid wrote:Sorry if I sound stupid, but how do I add this to Steam?
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
Ah, Update is working, thought mine didn't update even though I restarted Steam as it still says 206 in the Menu, but can sneak up on enemies, they make a sound when noticing me and I can kick their bodies once downed, so it's definitely 207.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
So how can I get SUMLauncher to work with this update?
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
You'll need to edit the first 3 lines of the version.xml that you will find in the data folder to read '206'. Then run SUMLauncher and it'll download the new version.Dammasta wrote:So how can I get SUMLauncher to work with this update?
On a slightly different note, I'm getting this error, is anyone else getting this? PS. am on Ubuntu Linux 14.04.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
it looks alot better and i get the feeling it'll probably be done by 2015 so far this has become my all time favorate game! ^.^
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
If you've updated a previous build, be aware that as of alpha 206 they decided, for whatever reason, to not make 64-bit binaries anymore. So you can remove Overgrowth.bin.x86_64 and use Overgrowth.bin.x86 instead. You will need a 32-bit chroot or enable multiarch support (see this for Ubuntu).Semel wrote:On a slightly different note, I'm getting this error, is anyone else getting this?PS. am on Ubuntu Linux 14.04.
That said, I would appreciate the return of 64-bit builds. If anything I would presume that more users run a x86_64 Linux than an i[3456]86 one.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
I have a problem with this update a207
I'm runing overgrowth via steam and using the sumlauncher 3.0.8
If i switch on the "advanced testing" function for overgrowth, sumlaucher tells me that there is a new update for overgrowth available and the current version is a206. I was confused, because a207 is out so to make sure, i've started the game and the main menu shows a206 in the right upper corner. first i thought steam didn't make the update then, but i told steam to keep overgrowth up-to-date always. After some testing and fooling around with the steam-preferences of overgrowth, i've figured out if i switch to "previous alpha" in the preferences and steam is done downloading some stuff, the game is on a207. sumlaucher detects a207 too.
its wierd, please address
edit: even if sumlauncher and the game tells me the version is 206 (preferences "advanced testing")the game is on a207, ive checked the new maxjump restrictions for the characters, which are added through a207. And of course it is vice versa: If the Sumlauncher and the game tells me the version is a207, it is actualy on a206 (preferences "previous alpha"). maybe there is something wrong with the sumlauncher, i dont know.
also i still have lightning and "purble" shader problems.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a207 build
when i saw that stealth had been improved i quickly went and loaded some stealth maps and all was well until the next day when i decided i wanted to play more maps so i launch overgrowth and bam. i get a message that says something along the lines of the main menu has been updated and you cant play maps and to look at the sum og utilities but the game hasnt updated and im confused with nothing to do in overgrowth now since maps dont work
