No. Being a hypocrite is telling people to do one thing, but you do the opposite. I said that the way it is portrayed in 'Hatred', killing innocents seems more evil than in COD. <-- Not hypocrisy! I am not telling people not to play killing games, and playing them myself. <-- Hypocrisy!
Yes, you are.

You say that Hatred is evil yet you continue to play Call of Duty.

You're changing your standards between games.

He is only a hypocrite if the following argument is true:
Hatred is the same as Call of Duty.

It is not.

Is there anything you can say to that without sounding like a hypocrite? Remember, no changing standards.

It's your right to stand wherever you like on the issue, but these rights aren't up for negotiation or debate. On the topic of quality of education, we have ye olde governmente to blame for that one. Public schools are shit here.

I can say that it is.

What's the difference except gameplay?

Nothing. You shoot people. CoD just tells you the people you're shooting are terrorists. The semantics are irrelevant, you still shot people.

Who you shot doesn't matter.

You missed the part where I said "You still killed people".

Meaning:
I never knew Command and Conquer,
Not humans
Ultima 7,
Yes it's the same unless I missed something.
Duke Nukem, Metroid, Mega Man,
Not humans.
Team Fortress 2,
Basically Call of Duty anyways
XCOM,
Not humans.
League of Legends,
Dunno.
Chrono Trigger
Yes.
Quake, Master of Orion,
Dunno.
Halo and running outside with squirt guns were all the same game!
Not people, and no one was harmed.

You... What?

It was a rhetorical question that demonstrated how your argument was wrong. Because those were different games.

I need a break.

^And to add on to that point @ Korban, it does show that guns don't cause violence either, which I think is a pretty important statistic in of itself.

I'm having a hard time ignoring opinion etc stated as facts or rules. And I can't use ignore rules because all preorderers are pseudo-mods. Doesn't leave me much. :(

Seriously, heated discussion on gun politics is the reasonable one?

Hardly heated. I've met way worse than Ragdoll.

Okay, not heated. I'll call it a discussion/demonstration about the relative merits of various matches, held atop a keg of blackpowder, instead.

I've also seen these discussions and they can get heated surprisingly quickly. The potential heatness is high.

Point stands.

The point was that no matter the context you kill people in you still killed people. Hatred doesn't hide behind... anything, while Call of Duty hides behind the generic "These are the bad guys" justification.

Don't act like Hatred is somehow evil because instead of twenty soldiers, it's twenty innocent people.

The differences are barely worth talking about.
