Oh, hello there! I came here to make a joke about nothing, because the thread had gone silent, but seems I don't need to!

Unfortunately, I'm a bit fuzzy on the current modding status. I guess the character on its own should work, if you find it, but I don't know if any of the mods do. There used to be mods to make him fly, but unless those have been updated to the newest version, he's just going to run around on the ground.

The flying mod is part of the "blood mod" and is updated to alpha 207.

@Runy63 if you want a flying bat download this mods and install them on alpha 207.

Bat: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=17002

Last's blood mod: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=12064&hilit=last%27s+blood+mod

a207: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=30975&hilit=a207

P.s. Le Petite Docteur has also created a Tengu character which you may want to check out here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=16662&hilit=tengu

Body cam footage from 2 police officers involved in the shooting of a drunk man who pulled a BB gun on them. Warning: Actual human death portrayed. It's not super gory or anything but if that bothers you, don't watch.

I think these videos demonstrate a few key truths that everybody should be aware of:
  • Situations in which an officer must shoot a suspect happen very quickly. They have on average under a second to react to their life potentially being threatened. There's not always time to check if the suspect's weapon is real, or to pull out their Taser and hope it doesn't fail to incapacitate the target.
  • Officers and military personnel alike are trained to fire until the threat is no longer a threat. One shot, even three shots, will not always kill or incapacitate a suspect. Between drugs, alcohol, and/or pure adrenaline, humans can take an incredible amount of damage and power through it. All it would take is a suspect getting a single shot off to potentially kill an officer. That's why it's not inherently suspicious when you see a headline like "Suspect shot 19 times by police"- it's how they're trained, and it saves lives.
  • Body cameras are a must for police officers. Not only do they record evidence that a human officer could overlook, but they protect innocent civilians from abusive police officers AND they protect innocent, responsible officers from being accused of crimes they did not commit. It's a win-win for responsible police officers and innocent civilians.
Just something to keep in mind the next time there's a headline like "Two police shoot unarmed suspect / suspect with a BB gun over 30 times" followed by national outrage- which almost certainly would have happened in this case if there wasn't any footage from the officers.

Wasn't there another incident with a kid holding an airsoft gun with the orange tip painted off who got shot? I swear I heard about it.

Might be losing my mind, also a possibility.

Yeah.

Pretty unfortunate.

If I remember correctly the officers were called to the scene with something along the lines of: "A young person is pointing a gun at people. It's probably fake."

EDIT: Here's the story. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Tamir_Rice

That's just ACAB bullshit.

Of course people are more likely t get shot by cops. There are many more criminals who get shot by police with proper justification than people who get killed by terrorists.
People who post shit like this in an attempt to make cops look bad should be slapped across the face a few times. This crap doesn't help one bit.

People act like these toy gun cases are grounds for more gun control. As if the standard armed citizen whips out his gun when he sees a kiddo and just starts taking center of mass shots. Love me some good ole propaganda and fear mongering though. Always gets the job done.
