Stickmen are one of the styles of drawing (And one of the more popular ones), "Bubble Men" is another style that is less commonly used, but ends up looking rather good (And is easier to make)

Essentially, the point is that yes, it's just a different style.

The first two are from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya...the third one is from Pani Poni Dash! and the fourth one is something I drew.

I love Melancholy. That is probably my #2 favorite of all time. Wonder if they're making a second season...

From what I've heard, they aren't...they decided that the amount of effort it took to create each episode (with the amount of frames and activity going on in each one...) that they didn't have the time...maybe they'll get enough people complaining that they'll start it up again...
