Rabbit kick suicide?

Post by Sargon » Thu Oct 19, 2006 6:06 am

I was fighting in a certain level.
I didnt get hit too much.
I made a rabbit kick on a rabbit opponent.
It wrote me "nice aim" when I hit that rabbit with the rabbit kick, but for some kind of reason turner died in that instant.
As if I died from rabbit kicking?
Why is that?

Thanks in advance.

You jumped to early and just ran int him rather than rabbit kicked him. The shock can be enough to kill you sometimes.

The body was horizental to the ground.
And I got a "good aim" message when I hit him.
It happens me more then once, and I dont think I was too injured.
I didnt have almost any blood remarks on turner, or any at all.

Good aim only happens when two people collide into each other, even if it's you. A successful rabbit kick should make you flip and go verticle almost immediately for you to notice.

Also, messing up a rabbit kick breaks your spine. You should still bleed afterwards, but it deals much more damage than other things, so you'll probably just die after a couple mishaps, before you get bloody. It's kinda hard to notice your health from blood though. Sharp moves will instantly lay a blood decal right on you, so after a fight you can be covered in blood and still live, while blunt moves will only give you a bloody mouth, not that much blood, even if you end up dying.

How fast does one recover his health from blunt hits?
I thought that blunt attacks make only temporary damage?

Rather quickly, actually, just wait around in one spot to nurse your wounds, and when turner stops holding his side in pain, he's in pretty good shape. :)

Yes, blunt attacks make temporary damage and you recover when standing still. You only get a portion back though, you can't regain all your health even if you rest a really long time. It's better to get hit 5 times, waiting after every hit, than it is to get hit 4 times really fast.

Umm, I don't think the camera sways when you're hurt… I've seen turner's vision become blurred when he's hurt badly though.

yes it does. try getting beat up, then going off somewhere, standing still and looking at the edge of the screen.

It might not work if you have the Specs turned to all time low...

I've got motion blur off, though I don't think I have anything else turned down. (Motion blur is the only thing that slows it down, really)
