I just see the game heading towards a Slower and User Interface oriented game...
I just don't like the Idea.

I was thinking that the game host would set up debug mode, and all players would have the same attributes and mods. Complete invincibility would not be allowed but one-hit KOs or very high health could be.

Ah, I see. Some game modes with 1-hit KOs would rock! (Lugaru Godzilla anyone?)

Yah, but what does that have to do with one hit kills (like SOS)? Like... stomping on someone or something like that?

Oh my god, networked debug with Lugaru would be so insanely great ... almost as cool as GoldenEye co-op would be
But yeah, there should definitely be an option to turn invincibility on or off; some of the crazy stuff you can do in Lugaru requires you to hit H a million times, but there are definitely people who are going to try abuse it, so a checkbox for it on or off is a must

Yah. When you create a custom server, you should be able to choose stuff like invincability and infinite time and stuff like that. That would be the best part of L2 online!
Edit:
(forgot my smiley!)

That sounds really fun actually.
Imagine having god mode enabled, and while no one dies, they still get knocked around and cut up.
At the end of the match everyone would be beaten to a bloody pulp,
but still come back for more!
And the ability to spawn different objects, npcs and so on would be pretty cool.
Lugaru: DavidsMod ;D

I like David's Deadly Playground better. I'm going to have a preview of Turner after a David's Deadly Playground match in a bit.
Edit: Here it is:
As you can see, I only get high 30s and low 40s FPS frame rate
