Starcraft II
Starcraft II
Starcraft II has finely been announced.
Here's and article on it: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/sta ... lk=topslot
Seeing the trailer I now understand why it is feasible to only have like at the most two dozen Terran Marines on the battlefield. Because it uses up so much resources just to suit up one dude.

Your point is not valid.Colicedus wrote:why? your not gonna need them where your going...
Welcome to Development hell, population: Blizzard
A. Starcraft: Ghost was developed by a separate company.
B. Blizzard has never not released a game they announced, other than Starcraft: Ghost.
I think it's completely ridiculous and unfounded for you to think that Starcraft 2 will never come out, given how much they're hyping this game.

My points are
-They Postponed WOW-BC
-They still never came out with SCG.
-BC was a let down (in my view)
maybe your right, But Ill believe it when I see it....
for now, I will trash talk blizzard until they poop out that new game.
and Knowing Blizzard now, they must have fucked up the story somewhere (look at BC and WC3)

I Do not know if you were being sarcastic David...
I will ad the statment that I Enjoyed Stagecraft and Brood war (the Editer was the most fun thing to use, it was Easy to use and could be used to do some fancy stuff), and all the Warcraft games up to WC3, the MMOs (I played for a year before coming here), They are addictive, but they (wow) Suck.
There are many flaws in the Player models, there trees look like see though Leaf textures put on a face of a flat surface, and inside it is a low poly tree.
By Far Lugaru had better Graphic effects (and This is not Flattery, Just a fact)
I will admit there Combat system in PvP can be fun to use, but they have limited there Program to what is truly capable IMPO

Trust me, every last person in Korea would storm Blizzard's offices and kill everyone if they canceled Starcraft II.BunnyWithStick wrote:Hype tends to increase the chances of a game never being released though.wormguy wrote:…given how much they're hyping this game.
In all seriousness, though, you can tell when a game will and will not come out. It would be like if you said when Halo 2 was announced that it would "never be released".
This is how Blizzard makes their money, guys. They release games. All of this criticism is just random generalization.
Doesn't Blizzard make all of their games for Mac as well? It's not like you have any anti-PC prejudice to rally behind here.

for the clueless people, the only sarcasm here is the "man, blizzard is terrible. they never do anything right" part but i agree with david, they laid the definitions for 3 or more genres and i mean, every game they've personally developed has come out...the only cancelled game in the history of Blizz was SC: Ghost and it was being developed by another company that screwed Blizz over for financial reasons or something...have faith in Blizz...when SC2 is due, people would've been waiting eagerly for the moment in history that it's released for TEN F***ING YEARS!!! Blizz IS NOT stupid enough to let people down after all the hype for this!!David wrote:Man, Blizzard is terrible. They never do anything right, besides essentially inventing the real-time strategy genre and dominating the MMORPG and action-RPG markets.
