Knife throw suggestion for lugaru 2

instead of horizontally throwing the knife straight, it would be cool if the knife was thrown vertically and it spun. it would be more satisfying...

I agree. Maybe the knife in lugaru 2 will be based on the engine rather than the animation. Such as if the character hand moves. it moves too and it can slide of the hand too .

Yeah I like how in Assassin's Creed you get three knife throw animations. Over the shoulder, and left and right throws, it made it much more interesting than just having a single animation. But I hated it because you never threw the knives over the shoulder or from the right unless you threw the knives in rapid succession, which would never happen. Even though you had knives on belts over your shoulder and on your side, you only threw them from one side, what a waste.

The way the knives smoothly curved and spun through the air in Assassins' Creed was also cool, even if unrealistic.

I was a knife with a rocket on the handle so it spins insanely fast and has homing powers so that it saws through multiple targets and then comes back to your hand!
It should also be able to detonate on command and fart cows.

Yes! Gray is the only other person to understand the power of exploding fart cows and rocket knives! *high fives*


Seriously, imagine if you threw a knife and it detonated, and then there was a fart sound and all the enemies got trampled by a herd of cows :O

Yeah I like how the control for the knife is right now. I don't think knife physics that rely on calculating the force and speed of your hand movement while you throw the knife is very realistic to make.

Them lovely cows... fun to generate an enemy, knock him unconscious and put him near a cow, then punch the cow in the ass and watch the dude get trampled :D The awesome sound of spine cracking...
