What was that Terry Pratchett quote again?
Someone using more than three exclamation marks was a clear sign of insanity?

The bit where Rincewind is down at the gate to hell or something and there's a sign written and it has like "!!!" on it? Is that the bit you're talking about? I remember it, but I can't remember the quote.
It's a perfect example of Terry Pratchett's quirky and witty sense of humour though...
My favourite author. I'm currently reading Monstrous Regiment.

Haha, yes, that's a good one! =D
I've read most of them...(over a period of time. NOT all at once. ahem..) just got about 6 or so more to go. 8D
I got the 'Eric' book downstairs somewhere, but I can't be arsed to start searching for the page with the quote in...

The only "gun" I would like to see in Lugaru 2 would be a bow...not a shotgun or some other crazy weapons.. how much fun would it be to shoot a enemy instead of kicking his a*s??

GOPAL RAMAN. I WILL NOW LECTURE YOU. (I need a T-shirt with something like that on it)
LUGARU.
MEDIEVAL TIMES.
GUNS DO NOT EXIST YET.
A cyborg eye enhancement is three things.
1. Cliche/Cheesy
2. Overpowered
3. Would NOT fit in.
Guns are two things:
1. WOULD NOT FIT IN.
2. Overpowered in a game with emphasis on Melee combat.
CYBORGS:
CLI- F**KING -CHE
OVERPOWERED
WOULD NOT FIT IN.
There seems to be a theme going here doesn't it!?
Gopal. You seem like a nice person. But I am VERY easily angered by people who are ignorant of the difference between a good idea and a bad idea.
Ok. Here's some perspective.
You're watching Lord of the Rings, or maybe something else like Narnia, something along those lines. How would you like it, if during a massive epic sword-fight, Gandalf pulled out a minigun and killed all the orcs in a couple of seconds!?
Since guns don't exist at that time in that world, it wouldn't make any sense. Since the orcs died so easily it would be anticlimactic, and no-one would like it.
GUNS
DO
NOT
WORK
IN
FANTASY
OR
FIGHTING GAMES
OR
SWORD-FIGHTING GAMES
LUGARU IS ALL OF THESE.
IT WILL NOT WORK IN LUGARU.

Some ancient and probably fearful warning was etched over its crumbling arch, but it was destined to remain unread because over it someone else had pasted a bright red-and-white notice which read: "You Don't Have To Be 'Damned' To Work Here, But It Helps!!!"
"Multiple exclamation marks," he went on, shaking his head, "are a sure sign of a diseased mind."

I think !! is ok. But only if caps lock isn't enough to express how loud you are.. Typing.
Certain parts of logic don't work on the internet.

I don't really consider Lugaru in "medieval times". Look at the camo pants and combat knife. But guns totally wouldn't work. It's a fighting game, if you want a shooter go play a shooter. Maybe a bow...but I think it would be more interesting for the enemy to have bows.
