OG on consoles?
OG on consoles?
Will OG ever be ported to consoles? My pc is shitty, but the xbox360 would probably have no problem running OG at top framerate. Maybe as a downloadable game on the Live Arcade or somthing?
Re: OG on consoles?
If we can find a publisher, sure!
Re: OG on consoles?
cool
Re: OG on consoles?
I think the conversation has been had in many a topic already, but having it on the wii would be epic.
Unwieldy, but epic.
I'd still go for the cpu version though...

You never know, Jeff! Look at media-molecule, the guys who made Ragdoll Kungfu; now they've made LittleBigPlanet as a PS3 exclusive and it's one of the most eagerly awaited games of Fall :3 I think the main problem with Lugaru is the lack of publicity; we don't have so many members, and only a fraction of those are even remotely active. I'd gladly purchase OG for consoles, because my computer is actually rather slow being from 2002 =S
P.S: You ought to try to get a few demos out to some big-shot gaming magazines, like EGM or something. Content is a little lacking now that games take so long to produce anyways; all of the good PR would fuel your crazy efforts to accumulate money doing what everyone wished they could have as a job, and you might get enough encouragement to port to consoles. (Mmm, initiating the leg-cannon with 6-Axis via flipping controller = win.)

You'd have to close the beta first...otherwise, half the world would have the beta test.

...Okay, Apple Macintosh Mac Os X version, then. xDBunnyWithStick wrote:Consoles have a CPU too…

So, overgrowth on consoles...Pure Awesome with a side of Kick-Ass. Like I said, my comp is crap, every month my graphics card uninstalls itself, so I play comp games on my mac (Those that I can find, that is, but my mac is really slow).

I have a feeling that the publicity will be cranked way up soon.

Pending on how long OG is, I wouldn't mind seeing it as a PSN title. If it's short I think it can fit onto PSN. For a game, storage limited for IIRC 1 GB. Or if it's pretty long like 20-30 hours then a blu ray will do.

Re: OG on consoles?
The limit for live arcade games is about 350 MB. I'm not so sure that live arcade would work on if it's a game like overgrowth. Hell I'm not sure if OG would work on PSN if that game if its like half life 2 or far cry 2. Stand alone games like wipeoutHD or warhawk would work, since warhawk takes up a little less then 1 GB and wipeout is 998 MB.Dudeman wrote: Maybe as a downloadable game on the Live Arcade or somthing?
Re: OG on consoles?
350MB is pretty dang sizable. The big thing that kills 3D games, size-wise, is textures, and this team's really not big enough to generate 300+MB of textures in the timeframe they're operating on. Unless, you know, they're totally gratuitous with their texture resolutions. Which I doubt they are. They're smart folk.
