Aha! Petrol is not necessarily shorthand for petroleum, so therefore I am un-owned.

It's actually the british term for gasoline, but that just supports my argument even further. It depends on which way you look at it, though.

No it wouldn't. You'd be near water and say to yourself "What's that sound in the distance?" so then you'd walk towards it and you'd be all "OH GREAT IT'S THE SONG FROM LAZYTOWN!"
