I don't think that one is so great. I think it's a bit pretentious, i.e. trying to sound meaningful and at the same time meaning nothing.

There didn't seem to be any specific point behind it, at least not in the context given.

"They tell us they're teaching democracy. We say "How do you teach democracy through the barrel of a gun?""
- Fr. Roy Bourgeeis

"In Latin America, anyone who works with the poor and oppressed is an insurgent, a communist. If I were doing the same thing in China, they wouldn't call me a communist."
- Fr. Roy Bourgeeis

Now that I am growing old, do you know what I miss? Antisemitism. I remember, back in the day I'd meet up with Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh and Father Coughlin. We'd go sit in a cafe across the road from a synagogue and glare at it, quietly seething with racial hatred. Good times.
- Thomas Edison

i stole this off of And the Siren Sang's myspace, idk who originally made the quote...i like it though

"I can not call myself alive, for I'm mechanized. I house a heart that bleeds, but no longer beats. Calling this "life" would be a lie, for I've died inside. You were the only thing that kept me alive."
