Yes. Because it's Grayswandir we're talking about here. Right?
Thanks for being more friendly than the folks at AuzWarz (Tremulous server) who got all pissy about my little bit of celebratory bragging.

Would it have been better if I had added "Please"?Starrz wrote:Was that comment necessary?Grayswandir wrote:Congratulations on getting a new MacBook.
Now go die in a fire.
Yeah, that would fix it.

When we were in the store, we could've gotten that one. It was pretty much right next to this model.
…I should've persuaded the purchase of that one instead. Meh.

Wtf? Mice suck for gaming. Trackpads are much easier to use. This one in particular works fine.

Is the new clicking thing irritating, or does it work fine?BunnyWithStick wrote:Wtf? Mice suck for gaming. Trackpads are much easier to use. This one in particular works fine.

Clicking with the same finger you use to move the mouse is fine as long as you're not clicking too far to the top of the trackpad, since it levers towards the bottom. Clicking and dragging using only one finger is tricky and practically impossible in an FPS game. Luckily, Apple being Apple made a button zone which would ignore the movements of your thumb while you move your finger around, making the trackpad almost exactly the same as an ordinary trackpad when you want it to. As a result, it's much more versatile.
I probably told you about the button zone earlier, but nobody cares.
