not possible, either all the bunnies and wolves are friendlys or all are hostiles.
but if we could do that, we could get a much more detailed storyline...

Not in L1, AFAIK.
Re: The [Somewhat] Official Lugaru 1.5 Collaboration Thread
Really strange.Lotus Wolf wrote: Tim's made a wonderful texture pack, very lovely. (i can't unzip the file btw, but it looks really good from what i see in the thread.)
I'll make a .rar package along with the .zip for the final release, which should hopefully allow everybody to try Lugaru HD ingame. Screenshots were done really quickly, and don't reflect the real immersion gain.

Try extracting the zip file with Stuffit or The Unarchiver instead of the standard BOMArchiveHelper (Archive Helper on Leopard).

i've got windows (unfortunately) and i have Alzip, a cross platform archiver and dearchiver, so it should have worked... but i'll try a different program.

Re: The [Somewhat] Official Lugaru 1.5 Collaboration Thread
I had a vague idea for a wolf campaign, where a babby wolf found in the woods is raised by kind, if rather stupid, bunnies. He always wonders why he looks different from the other rabbits. The vegetarian diet stunts his growth and makes him weak.
Until he comes into contact with other wolves, learns who he is, and goes and eats the rabbits he grew up with. He fights some wolves for the chance to join their pack, does some wolfie type stuff, and ultimately challenges the Alpha for leadership.
I'm not sure how it all works, but you can set the size, speed, strength etc of the character when making the levels, right? You'd start out weakened by a bunny's diet, and get stronger as you progress. This'd help deal with difficulty-curve issues involved with starting as a wolf. Also, the other wolves get to make short jokes.

Re: The [Somewhat] Official Lugaru 1.5 Collaboration Thread
Sorry for my absence, i had my GF over for 6 days.
anyways, good idea Groveller, i see a few problems, but all could be easily overcome. I think if we are doing a 1.5 update we should do something similar to the original campaign, maybe make the conspiracy more complex, and have more loose ends to tie up other than the king and the alpha wolf.
anyway, sorry i was gone, but i have to spend as much time as i can with my GF while she is here.

you know, a great way to spend a lot of time with someone, is to cover them in latex paint and devour them, that way they'll be with you always. or at least until you get rid of the nutrients and poop them out.
