Yeah it works, nevermind, I guess when I installed Leopard it didn't come with Stuffit so I has to download.

SoS runs fine on mac osx without starting classic for me. I think I open SIT files with stuffit expander. classic was on the early power pcs (a type of mac) I.E. the ibook g4.

Soul of Steel!
Woah, that's very neat.
Thank you Healey for prompting John for the link and posting it,
Thank you John for finding and ditributing the link through to Healey,
Thank you David for making this (piece of) game in the first place.

Woah, I seem to be hitting their legs a lot.
The Enemy steel-souls' legs, that is.

Sad that this will never be on Linux or Windows.

I feel your pain...

...oh, wait, no I don't.
*sniggers*

...

Okay, that was tasteless, but hey, what can I do?
There's plenty games for windows that we Macmen can't play.

Thanks for the link.

SoS reminds me of I, Robot*. Except without the gratuitous product placement.

*The film, not the book.

If u haz an intel, yes. I don't have an intel, though.

Alternatively, there used to be 'Virtual PC' years ago that'd do such things, but it was slow as phux (Jazz Jackrabbit 2 would be about 1 or 2 fps) and it's alive no longer anyway.
Rumour has it microsoft actually bought it, and then discontinued it. Hah.

Edit: Did I mention my spirit feels a bit heavy?

You could always download Wine to play windows games on Mac. I know that that still works, though you'll need a good amount of RAM.

Hmmm, I've never heard of Wine, yet I find myself downloading it right now... America's Army, here I come.
