Wow. I found Black Shades in about October and I became an annoying member since then.

Yea. :)

Another forum... a tiny one actually with like 6 people. You know the type, they die within a week but people make them anyways.

Guy posted a bunch of free games. Lugaru was one of them, but only the demo is free. heh.

I played the Lugaru demo years ago. Last year, I saw it mentioned somewhere, remembered that it was a cool game, etc. Grabbed the free Lugaru and put in a preorder.

I was looking for a 3D game to play that was free. I found Lugaru as shareware and sort of laughed at the idea of Kung fu ninja bunnys, I complelty did not take it seriously. It did however have some decent reviews. I downloaded it with nothing better to do, and it actualy turned out to be my most Fav game 30 seconds into the turtorial. It was not silly as I had expected and rather grim and disparing in feel - everything I have been looking for in a game.

I found Black Shades somewhere on the internet, downloaded it and liked it a lot, but I found Wolfire on Moddb a long time later. So I tried the Lugaru demo and got hooked. I have no idea how I didn't see Wolfire back then.
