This is just...

...Wow.

It's a big bit of text, but trust me, you'll want to read all of the way through.

Holy jeez! that's crazy if it's true. of course some people read stuff into AI that's just not there.
but, the guy is from PC gamer Mag, he has a medium chance to know what he's talking about in my book. still he might be reading stuff in to the AI.

Maybe read into it too much, but even if he did, that's still awesome.

From what I know about this game, they completely ignored multiplayer and spent a lot of time trying to make the AI realistic and individual, with each race having it's own personallity and such instead of being the same thing with slightly different stats(COUGH civilization COUGH).

So he probably isn't reading into it too much.

This was released in 2007.

And besides, old games are awesome.

Hmmm... your point is valid.
Okay, then. Rephrase:
Old games usually are very good, but of course there are always exceptions.

Jeez, I'm sorry I missed that one... good for a pretty funny write-up, though, so not a total loss.

I'm pretty sure the ratio of epic to meh is much higher on the epic side for older games.

But then I might just not know of the meh games.

I dunno. I don't study video game history. I just know that the first arcade game was Pong, and that Dawn of War 2 is out and I need moneyz for it.
