Pre Ordering Questions

Post by tomascokis » Fri Feb 06, 2009 11:07 pm

Just a couple questions before I go and preorder.

1. How much is the download size for the alpha?

2. My computer is broken, If I download it our family computer, will it still let me download it on my own once I get it back?

3. How many objects does the alpha come with? (this is just curiosity, If the answer to question 1 & 2 is right then I'll get it anyway)

Also, just in general I would like to request more official info for the game, I don't even know what the alpha does - I'm just assuming what it is from the video that was realized.

1. It has no set size. It jumps up and down. No telling how big it will be. All I know is that SO FAR, it's stayed under 1 gig.

2. Yes.

3. As many as they come out with. (I don't have numbers and don't really think them important right now).

Yeah and all info about the game and what the alpha is is pretty much available via the blog. The fine details and the actual Alpha and everything after, plus with the possible threat of the price being raised, a discount, and great discussions. There's really no reason to not have pre-ordered yet.
;D

Blorx is correct.

It's a level editor, with very little to edit, and a general all-out test of the Phoenix engine. You can make landscapes with houses and whatnot with trees and rocks, and watch the amazing textures do their work.

Then maybe hop about a bit with Rabbot.

Couldn't be bothered waiting for replies so I already pre-ordered. Can't wait to start complaining in the SPF

If you even remotely enjoyed Lugaru, I shall set myself so bold as to say you've chosen right.

Just a question, is there a way I can join the overt ops forum, because I can speak Spanish pretty well, and I live in England, plus I've got a bunch of my Mexican cousins interested in overgrowth, as well as a bunch of my friends from school, some of which have preordered overgrowth.

Just contact Jeff, through email, meebo, IM, and the like. He'll decide.

Please stop replying to spam bots. They can't see what you post and they don't care. You can call them as many names as you want but it still doesn't change the fact that it's a 'stupid robot'

(awww, I bet the 'stupid bot' feels so hurt by that statement.)

Instead, report the post, let the admins deal with it. It's their job.
