I just don't like that the fox is smaller than rabitt or the main character is smaller than the other rabitts. But the other effects of the campaigns are cool.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, maybe the size difference is a bit exaggerated... it's tough to make anthropomorphic animal men and women look different since the game will only save the hero character as the Turner-sized -and shaped default.

All you can do is dress 'em in girly colors, and change everyone else's size.

good thing the original Turner model has big legs, so Rose can more or less pass as an Olympics caliber gymnast girl. :D (Or maybe more of a college gymnast, not like the 12 year-old sprites in the Olympics...)

It's times like this that make me realize how good I actually am at Lugaru. I finished that level in under a minute. 8)

Awesome campaign, still playing.

It's mostly because I'm using a mouse. I'm used to a touchpad, and our laptop broked. But I got past it, and I have to say, it's a really nice campaign!

Dayamn! Man, I suck at Lugaru.

it took me 6 tries to beat on "difficult" last night.
no wonder your campaign was so brutally hard, Lotus.
you're probably playing on "insane", too.

how was Oakey's Fort?

Oakey's fort was good.

This game is good so far. In fact, it inspires me to try to finish my own game! :D

yeah it was good, though there was one or two glitches where I had to use debug to get around (the falling level for example one of the enemy's was somehow on the roof) but it was really fun. and then once the game crashed right after killing the colonel. and started me over at the start of the falling sequence. it was a fun campaign though. I had no problems loading any of the skins. though occasionally on some of the levels I'd find that an enemy or myself would explode but I think that was a problem with the architecture.

wow! do you mean on the roof of the big tunnel structure itself? that's a big glitch!

hmm, that's pretty far back in the campaign sequence. wth...

WOW! That's pretty alarming. Also kind of awesome, and I have no idea how to fix it.

Glad you liked it, though. :D

In the zip file in the textures/weapons file there is three .jpg files. Are these meant to be .png files like with the origional lugaru files with those names?

I'm adding it to Lugaru Downloader so need needs to be done right or it wont work correctly ;)

Yay! thanks, matto.

I made a couple of changes to the maps and dialogues; the original link now leads to the repaired version of the campaign.*

The .jpg's in the weapons folder are the way they came from Lotus Wolf's weapons shop-- I tried resaving them as .png's and playing them, but the sword doesn't look nearly as cool and the blood progression from light to heavy doesn't seem to work.

If your awesome Downloader doesn't like the .jpg format, I'll change it, or you can do it if you want.
I'm not that set on the Cannonear's sword, really. I just thought it looked the most right with the beautiful Talon knife.

*don't think I've fixed any of the really exotic glitches like exploding  characters, but an important dialogue mistake is fixed, along with a couple of bad cracks characters like to fall into and get trapped.

Ok thats fine. I was just wondering if you'd put them as the wrong name by accident. JPG's will work perfectly with the downloader, was just double checking.

yeah if I remember correctly the only weapon that uses a .png file for it's texture is the knife, the staff and the sword both use JPG's for some reason, strangely for some reason this means you can apparently change the knife's shape by editing the texture, and don't actually have to change it's .solid all that much. I think that it has something to do with the knife being less complex then the sword and the staff. this was pretty much a pointless post.
