Basics, I guess. I'm Emily, nearish the age of 16 from the US of A.
Smart part-time, nerd full-time.
I found lugaru a loooong time ago, back when my dad played computer games- he got the demo off of some mac magazine and we had fun not understanding the tutorial (... I'm not really sure how I got confused). Years later, I re-found it and here I am.

As for hobbies, I'd say art. And video games. Also procrastination.
... back to chemistry homework...
Welcome.

Somehow I feel obliged to introduce myself here. Couldn't say why.
So hello. I'm from New Zealand.
I just got the double pre-order pack and am writing this as the two editor suites download.
I got Lugaru on sale a while back, and was going fine until the moment I started fighting wolves. All I can say is from one to three is a hell of a difficulty spike.
Anywho, I'm an amateur game developer myself (though I work in the realms of 2D so far) and I've released one game, which was buggy beyond belief, and I'm pretty sure I don't have any more. Currently I'm working on one other, which I hope to be far less buggy then the former and actually worth showing people.
I also draw stuff from time to time.

My God, you're like my long-lost twin brother

How terrifying. Or something.

So who might you be then? Narrow it down to the most likely three identities. Less if you can manage.

(I'm sorry, I'll stop being nonsensical now)

I come from the NS side, but man am I looking forward to Overgrowth!

I run six servers out of my home (great bandwith huh).
Half-Life
Half-Life: Natural Selection
Counter-Strike Source
Team Fortress 2
Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2

I have four computers networked together here. FTP server, etc.

I've done extenisive mapping in Half-Life and taught around 20 people how to map one on one. I've done a little mapping for TF2 and just started mapping with NS2. So far so good! Plus I'll get to map with Overgrowth from what I understand!

I'm usually very busy in the summer with sailing, kayaking, camping, etc, etc, but the long winters are all on the computers. Oh yeah, I'm a mainframe programmer/analyst.

THIS IS GREAT!!!

Haven't posted in aeons so I figured a re-introduction is in order

I'm English and I find my place spending far too much time drawing and photoshop-ing
I made a few wallpapers that made the front page at some point and made also made an adequate contribution to the much loved John's Beard fanbase

Hi, I'm Ryan from the US, going to UVA, majoring in Comp Sci. I'm much more of a casual gamer and was looking for something (games) to install on my new linux dual boot and stumbled upon the double preorder deal, which leads me to here, geeking out over alpha-stage indie games :D I'd never have thought I'd be doing this a year ago.

Aside from losing my eyesight in front of a computer, I'm really involved in the fencing club at UVA, a frat-like society and I do a ton of whitewater kayaking at home.

Hey - great to have some more people not from England/America/Australia.

Just to have some idea - is anybody else here not from one of those three?

If debugging is the process of removing bugs, then programming must be the process of putting them in.

Okay, so I'm going to do this too!
Allright, I'm Marcel, and live in Spain, although I'm from Germany, my age I will not say here for.. well, security and that stuff.

I do study at college yet and probably will study medicine, I'm not so sure myself yet, anyways.
I'm no interesting guy and really have nothing much to say about me now... Uh... PM me or so if you want more info? XD

There is no private messaging on the Wolfire Forums.

Other missing things: signatures and the absence of flame wars.
