The way I understand it, Wolfire = David and whoever is hired for a particular project at any given time, I don't think they are actually Part of Wolfire, just contracted.

Yeah, that's what my impression was. Maybe David can shed some light on this?

David doesn't know when it will come out either... This is not school or some giant corporation. Deadlines truly mean nothing. When you make a game, you decide what you want it to have and then you work on it when you have time until it meets all of your requirements. Once that is satisfied, you release it (after making a manual, etc.) Unlike a professional corporation, David is not going to arbitrarily limit himself to some unrealistic deadline and start dropping features and unfinished content as the deadline approaches. There is no crunch time. There is no overtime. As a hobby (albeit a lucrative one) it will get done when it gets done.

Technically, Wolfire does not exist.

When I said wolfire staff I meant the lugaru 2 development team.

a few more questions from levbot-
---will david use a .solid still?
---will there be an editor for it?
---whats the meaning of life?
---will there be an animation editor (like GL fighters)?
---will the plot have variations?
---when will L2 have it's own forum? (the wolfire section is turning into one)
I hope that this will save people from having to search through this whole thing for infrmation like this...

An animation editor sounds cool. If Lugaru only came out for windows. I would be so pissed... I think it's safe to say that the mac version will have the same features as the windows. version.thx 4 all the info jeff!

that's a good idea. There is no way for people to find real info on L2, exept searching through the forum.
