Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
Perhaps i am going in the wrong direction lol http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/networking/dccp Yea, I have never worked with DCCP, but we can't access it via OG anyway. We also can't use UDP at the moment, only TCP via XMLHttpRequest. We do it with jQuery, but that is just a wr...

Re: OGW Q&A with the developers
I just watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJwtylBkb-U I would like to hear you address the observations and suggestions made. I would also like to add that broken bones can be treated with splints and casts. The video was discussed ~3 weeks ago. In OW 99 or OW 100? I remember some ...

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
I can't be particularly bothered to partition my drive, install a version of ubuntu on a Virtual Machine or dig up the old linux server, so can you please release instructions on how to compile the server inside of Cygwin? (including what packages need to be installed). Thanks! It would be easier t...

Re: Dear Old Growth Members, please hear out my plea..
Getting back on topic, Yeah even though I am like a whole month late (forgive me senpai) but I tried to do something that will make everything the way it used to be like try to make a Long Waited MP mod (Again CONGRATS Surak and Gyrth) I actually admire Gyrth for a long time and Markuss because the...

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
Yea, what the others said. Of course it is technically possible to submit code without using Git(hub), but it would increase Gyrth and mine work ten times. We would like to get help to have less work, not more ;) And there are literally thousands of tutorials out there how to use Git and Github in a...

Ok, I created a Steam group. OGMP was not available, so I took OGMP.net: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/ogmpnet

Re: The Community- Negativity Irc chat +more
It looks good but keep the blog and the IRC. I agree with keeping the blog, but why the IRC ? No ones every on it. There is more than enough conversation in the IRC channel. Just not constant conversation, because of different time zones, actual life and stuff like that. If you write something inte...

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
@Surak aye aye Captiain! I'm on it. Also, I am not very keen on using git hub as I really don't like it. I would much rather upload it somewhere and send you a link to it. Not possible, you will have to use Github to contribute code. What's your problem with it? Speaking of chrome (if you are refer...

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
If need be, I would love to join you guys and making this a lot better optimized. Help is very welcome, just fork the client or server on Github, commit your changes to a new branch and send a pull request. Please only send a pull request though if the new code does not break the game. perhaps we c...

Re: OGMP Join times?
It would be quite cool if there were set times for the servers to be populated, like a sort of "Oh, hey, if you wanna go on multiplayer, then there will definitely be a server hosted at ____ o'clock" It would help, I never really start a server, seeing as it deletes all Npc's, which I wou...

Re: [OGMP] Overgrowth Multiplayer Mod
Yea, it is pretty handy, but sadly not a lot of people are playing on the servers. So if you want to play your best chance is to first find people and then join the server together.sonicdsx98000 wrote:wow that's pretty convenient, thanksrodeje25 wrote:you mean this? http://www.ogmp.desonicdsx98000 wrote:how do you find people on servers

Re: Help with S.U.M. Launcher
You can't upload mods to the SUMLauncher manually yet. It has to be added to the community browser by Anton, and it might take a while. Oh, okay. I never really understood. Thanks! This post by Anton explains how to get your stuff into the content community browser: http://forums.wolfire.com/viewto...
