Re: What announcement would make you so happy?

I would love to license the Phoenix engine, it looks amazing. Also, I agree with marcus (im an arch fanboy too :D ), linux would be good. You could even make boot discs...

Re: What announcement would make you so happy?

I think that would be good, I think if they announced that the game could run at 600 FPS I would be happier :) it is still a little slow

Re: File mirror

Actually, I can offer 300GB of traffic from hotfile (which comes with my subscription and dont use at all) which is in my experience quite fast. I can get it to transfer the file from any http server as well, just need a (temporary?) direct link.

Re: File mirror

You may also want to look at doing it yourself, the rackspace cloud is open to anyone, http://www.rackspacecloud.com/cloud_hos ... cts/files/ unfortunately 22c per GB is a bit dear when you look at the traffic you guys go through.

Re: File mirror

As much as I am willing to pay for, which is about 40GB per month. It would be nice if you could make the regular updates available as updates instead of downloading the full game as well, saves downloading a GB per week. WinMerge or something maybe?

Re: File mirror

Sure :) You realize though that anyone that gets the link (which we can hide behind the thingo you have already) would be able to download it? That's what I meant by Limelight being public.
It just removes some of your security (the authentication/timestamp thing) which you may not want.

Re: File mirror

I was not aware of its existence. I shall correct this mistake. About the mirrors provided, these are faster (the Limelight CDN is amazing, wherever you are, unlike certain EU/US servers). They are also, unfortunately, public. I did some research. You can use them privately but they are not as outra...

Re: obligatory introduction thread

Well I was not aware that the obligatory introduction thread existed and was, therefore, obligatory. But now the fine Venatir has corrected this gap in my knowledge so I shall obliagatorily introduce myself. I am me. I found Wolfire when looking for 3D game engines and someone mentioned Phoenix so I...

File mirror

Hey guys, I have got kinda sick of having to wait to 2AM to download the wolffire build (then have my download manager fail) so I would like to offer my own mirror based in the rackspace cloud and attached to the Limelight CDN (google it). Depending on the bandwidth you go through I will be willing ...
