Re: Could not find back in Hash map

Might help to remove your config file, or generally just purging the local cache directory.

Re: Key

You can retrieve the key by rightclicking the game in the steam library and then pressing the "CD Keys" item. Then follow the instructions on this page and you should be set =)

And yes, i believe it is more stable!

It has been our focus to clean it up and not release until it reached a certain quality, rather than the old "release on a date, no matter the state" method we were trying out.

Perupator, when was the last time you opened up the computer and blew it clean with compressed air?

I personally do it as a yearly thing on all my machines, as it's about that time things are getting really clogged.

Re: Nitpicks

61 and 62 are restrictions of the underlying navmesh library. I would love to have multiple areas, and considered it for a while but it was too much work (there are a lot of things you have to balance when you have a limited budget ;) ). Additionally the limitation for 61 comes from the clipping bei...

Re: a226 testing (updated)

Hey, all you 64-bit linux lovers out there. The current official_alpha version on steam has a functional 64-bit build on it, you should all try it out and see it works out for you, please report back here with your result (both bad and good). Make sure to follow lukas instructions in the first post ...

Re: a226 testing (updated)

I'd like to add that some objects might have cached data generated. This will happen for objects that aren't in any of the shipped levels.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a225 build

I'm playing around with building a 64-bit version of linux for release. I use it myself when i develop so it only seems right to try and make it publicly available. As others have noted, i believe the user base of 64-bit linux is larger than the 32-bit user base. Especially if you consider the overl...

Re: uh, i got a problem

Hi sonic

The shader warning error can usually be fixed by updating the drivers.

Otherwise it's fixed in the upcoming release. You could try advance_testing on steam if you're interested in an early sneak peek.

Re: Possible temp fix to PreDraw(); error crash

We don't have a time machine :P We just work on a two week cycle, so while alpha A is out, alpha B gets frozen and work on alpha C starts. Which is why the numbers can seem like a big jump. It's intended as a way to minimize bugs for the alpha release.

Re: Possible temp fix to PreDraw(); error crash

I'm making the modding system a little smarter to minimize these issues in the future. One thing i'm doing is making the FileCollision warning smarter, meaning it will only warn if an activated mod is colliding with another. I'll also add a check for the declared version of the game, so that unteste...
