check the 'supported video cards' thread stickied in the forums, your card might be one that works badly with OG no matter what you do, there arent many of them, but its always a possibility (follow the link to the wiki page)

if you install lasts blood mod, it comes with the health bar mod, and youll see there are 2 bars: 1 for weapons, and 1 for any other damage, i like the health bars.

this is Super Mario Galaxy 2 all over again! that game was awesome, and so was this one! and with the new scripting changes, you can probably make it so that as you turn a corner (like in SMG2) the camera angle can change to be 2D on that side as well
