Wow, I remember this topic. I created it as a semi-joke topic, with the illustrations and all, and no one ever got it.

But I guess it is a good debate, and it would be pretty sweet if the game had gore.

Anyone played Gears of war? Goriest game in the west.

Although Impressive I think endorphin Is a sellout (i think thats the right context) they use something that isnt THAT great, and selling it for 2grand, dave has MADE HIS OWN engine that is better, and HE isnt selling it for 2grand now is he? I think that that kind of ragdoll "behaviour" ...

An over-the-shoulder camera bow aiming mode, in my opinion, would actually fit into Lugaru's world nicely. If there aren't bows you can use, surely there will be bows that NPCs use.

Holy crap, that concept is amazing. Huge props to you guys. Also, I hope that if cities really look like that in-game, you can interact with them properly, and they aren't just objects in the game that your character collides with.

Bows and arrows would be pretty fun in this game, if done right. Although aiming might be tough.

I know there won't be any "preset animations", but preset cutting points would be a hell of a lot easier then making a whole system devoted to making randomly based death split animations.

Will cities and towns be featured in Lugaru 2? Wouldn't it be cool fighting your enemies as you jump from rooftop to rooftop, overlooking the city streets below? Not modern day cities of course, more like primitive, stone-based market streets-type stuff.
