Maybe have a button to kick/fling sand off the ground at enemies. You could grab a little handful and let centrifugal force leak sand out of your hand as you fling it at your enemies. They could stumble; rub their eyes and try to block while you beat some of them up. Yet again, this would turn into ...

Well, I think that on grassy/sandy levels, it would be more difficult to find rocks of good throwing size, so possibly there would be a scripted weapon for a rock. Place a few in the world - but the stupid AI would go crazy for weapons and run wildly for them - anyways - you should be able to pick t...

In reality, if you're fighting off some dude with a foot-thick sword, you're probably gonna get owned. But the speed in OG that that dude can move is insane.
It would also be nice to make the dodging easier....

Well, because the game is in a very early stage, things like this are bound to happen often. I have stupid errors all the time when I play (e.g. Rabbits die at spawn because somehow their own knives got shoved through their heads; somehow they just end up climbing a wall and not wanting to come down...

One weapon that could take the place of the bow is the slingshot. You can only throw small rocks with it, it doesn't have much range, and the most damage you could possibly deal is a small concussion. I would love more emphasis on the background and story, like computers, charts, paper, stuff everywhere detailling where we are, who are the bad guys and stuff I agree. I kinda get lost when they're using all these terms like Mindtech and Dreamers and whatnot. What good would an SMG be in this game...

Well, an idea for the handgun/rifle ammo compromise: What if there, instead of being different ammo types for each weapon, there were more simplified ammo types (handgun ammo, rifle ammo, SMG ammo, etc.)?
