Re: Graphical options(?)
Could there be a way to possibly modify the slow motion effect so it's at a rough speed of 95 percent real-time or something? So that way I could play more of the player made levels or some of the stock ones? Or would the engine still bottleneck on my CPU? Some of the levels are .. sorta playable wi...

Re: Wall Slide
=) very cool Johannes I don't give a crap if it's realistic, it needs to be fun and not glitch out the game or break the game... Also.. I am trying to think of a way to articulate the thought of allowing Modders to add this ability. The biggest and best resale strategy for a game is to offer the cho...

I like it... That could be a very interesting dynamic...
Hell rabbits have claws right?
Cat Race should at least have this ability.

Re: Mod: Main Menu with Custom Maps (Over 55 user maps inclu
Hey Anton (you can call me Abe btw :) ), I hope your not annoyed with my recent concerns, but I noticed someone else mentioning that certain custom models and textures lead to insane levels of FPS drops. For example, I use a GTX 250 and I get 30-60 FPS consistently in all vanilla flavored maps, and ...

Re: SUM Overgrowth Utilities
Just a quick mention, I recently updated to the Alpha 1.2, and I just dropped it into the correct folder, but upon launching SUM I get an error saying I need to update. Please visit the forum thread and download the exe wrapper. This program will not be able to update further without it. Disregardin...

Re: Features missing
Hah while we are at it, This should be added to the game as well!! http://forums.wolfire.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=12471 :D Yes, I tested out some more, and I also sent a quick bug report to the wolfire team .... (it always feels so redundant, because I am sure they have heard the foliage issues ...

Re: Features missing
@Anton, is it Aubery's level you are mentioning or the player made one, or is it both? I recommend SUM Loader http://forums.wolfire.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=14201 or editing the config file so you can see the line of site of enemies? There's probably a good opportunity to fine tune this issue wi...

Re: SUM Overgrowth Utilities
It sounds to me like your config file has some sort of improper formatting - I would suggest deleting your config.txt file (in your My Documents/Wolfire/Overgrowth/Data/ folder), starting Overgrowth up once (to recreate the config file), then try it again. @Aaron, Yup, that was it, I actually tried...

Re: SUM Overgrowth Utilities
Works! Some issues very quickly (which I probably should of just e-mailed, but thought I would just leave this message here) Update worked correctly and game worked, but upon clicking "Edit Config" from the .jar executable SUMlauncher.jar (version 1_1) I received this error: Error reading ...

Re: SUM Overgrowth Utilities
Ok, sounds good, I think then perhaps I will wait with downloading the Alpha to help with testing... This could be an incredible addition to an already amazing game.
I was going to send the log file, but it didn't seem like it would help much heh
You guys are awesome.

Re: SUM Overgrowth Utilities
I have the recent version of Java, but I too have my Overgrowth executable in a separate drive (E:\VIDEO GAMES\Wolfire Games\Overgrowth), so the error I receive is: ""Error: Unable to access jarfile E:\VIDEO"" Although it's probably not wise, I am going to try and find the requir...

Re: Suspension Custom Map
I have been trying my hand at some custom levels, and was wondering if you guys had any "pro-tips" for navigating the editor? I have been trying to learn on my own, but I am getting glitches here and there, should probably send bug reports *another thing I need to learn how to do! You guys...

Re: Suspension Custom Map
I do really like the idea of a script that would immediately set you back to spawn point after falling.. I noticed Horridius had some script in his video that would basically move you like an elevator, which would be an interesting concept, and perhaps give the level more of a "flow" and l...

Re: Suspension Custom Map
Hah... and here I thought this level was just a cruel joke  How do you accomplish this wall rolling witchcraft!? Either way that looks extremely impressive Horridius, especially that last part were you go back to wall jumping. I liked how it synced up with the music as well. Well.. here goes me...
