You need to replace the files from the blood mod, with the name kept the same (for instance delete the bloodmod file and replace it with this). These files incorporate the changes of both the blood mod and the arena enhancement mod simultaneously.

I couldn't easily get the files from that zip file working with my existing install, but installing Overgrowth from Steam is working fine. Interesting... is Steam now the "canonical" way to install Overgrowth?

The file is actually called Overgrowth.bin.x86_64 (note the capital O). If there's a shortcut that you're using, change it to have the capital O and it should work (or just run the executable directly).

Texture issues can be caused by missing S3TC support, but that shouldn't happen for the proprietary driver...

One way to get more information about segfaults is just to run in gdb.

The question is how they're going to nerf it. Supposedly they made the arena to figure out how combat should work, but leg cannon has been a serious problem since long before the arena existed and it still hasn't been really addressed.

bzar, apparently they screwed and didn't actually put a Linux binary in this alpha. For now, just download a200, but hopefully they'll fix this soon.
