So long as multiplayer support actually exists, does it really matter?
TCP/IP support is definetely the best way to go, as it is going to be around the longest and is cross-platform.

I'd say either run a master server (though since it would cost money this is a costlier option) or even better, implement multiplayer support between two ip addresses, then use a service like Game Ranger or Game Spy to solve the problem of being able to set up an ip address server to obtain them fro...
