Re: Unofficial, alpha 45 weekly build
I can't seem to find the Rabbit model on the Load Item menu. O.o am I doing something wrong or do I have to enter a console command or something to load the Rabbit?

Re: The Bugs Thread
Hmm, I'm running Alpha 8 on Windows XP 32-bit, with an AMD dual core processor (3.2GHz speed), 2GB of RAM, and a 512MB GeForce 8600 graphics card. For the most part the Alpha runs fine, but when I try to add an object by clicking "Add Object" and then clicking somewhere on the ground, the ...

Re: Minor concerns regarding marketing...
Maybe after Overgrowth is actually released and stuff, they can think about bonuses and extra content and stuff, but for now let's not put too much on their plate. Firstly, thanks for understanding where I was trying to come from. ^^ I realise now that it might have sounded a bit cheeky, hence my h...

Minor concerns regarding marketing...
After having looked at the blogs for a while, it struck me that Wolfire seem to be doing a lot to attract new players to Overgrowth, most recently offering free copies of Lugaru to those who preorder the game. As well as this, they have been recruiting people to take part in Overt Ops, offering free...

Re: Overgrowth on Steam?
Sounds awesome, but I wonder, how will this work? I certainly want to have my preorder honoured by Steam too, but I preordered waaaay back. I take it we'll have to give you email addresses and Steam account names so that we can get the two associated with each other?

Overgrowth T-Shirts... Why Cafepress? D:
So, it's been a little while since I was here, but yeah. XD I was reading about the Wolfire T Shirts thing, and to my disdain, you guys are selling them on Cafépress. D: That makes it inaccessible to folks like me, since my only way of buying stuff online is Paypal, and lo and behold, Cafepress don'...

Re: Object manipulation bugs!
Manipulating an object by mouse is very tricky, as it's oversensitive, causing me to all too often crush either the rock or block into the 2nd dimension, which has crashed the alpha several times, including once getting an error about attempting inversion on a singular matrix, which I can only imagi...

XD with regards to having forum members be referred to in Overgrowth, I think Vib Rib should be given special mention somewhere. :p

Re: Water In Lugaru 2
Well I'm sure I've established by now what kind of water-related feature I'd like to see in OG (particularly in the swamp areas). Mud (and quicksand) of course. XD I know that doesn't have a lot to do with water (since it'd be scripted differently), but it'd still be cool. Traversing knee-depth mud ...

Re: Blog Requests?
While I prefer to let the team blog at their own pace, I am looking forward to seeing updates with regards to modular/custom clothing, to get some idea of what clothing may become available in the game. :3

Ooh, I wonder if the jitte will make an appearance. One of my favourite off-hand disarming weapons. ^^David wrote:There will probably be similar left-handed parrying daggers that are more (or less) practical as well.

Re: Blood
That's pretty awesome. When I saw that video, I just had to quote the machinima P.A.N.I.C.S. (which, as you could guess from the naming convention, was made in F.E.A.R.): 'Look, there's blood everywhere!' 'Woah! Is it your blood, Frank?' 'No it's not my blood! If it were my blood I wouldn't be sayin...

Re: Secret Preorder Forum!
Huh. That's weird. O.o;
Do a search for "Charlie Medley", you might get a result that way.
EDIT: here's one of the original versions:

Re: Secret Preorder Forum!
XD a couple friends of mine love that animation, and they wrote and performed a little medley song, including some Charlie The Unicorn jokes. X3 brilliant stuff. *goes to see if he can find it* Alright, here's their page on Thesixtyone: http://www.thesixtyone.com/jaycatt/#/froggmarlowe/music/ The so...
