Re: When is the next build coming?
I'm not rushing anything - I'm not asking when the game will be finished, I just wish we could see some progress update.

When is the next build coming?
It's been more than a month since the last alpha, maybe even two. Has anyone heard from the devs about when they plan to release the next alpha?

Re: Insane FPS in 198
I can only get up to 500 fps at best. But I am on a laptop At what resolution and other settings? I usually get up to about 160, but I'm running it at Full HD. I'm on a laptop, but the card is GTX 660M and runs a lot of new games smoothly at Full HD and high quality settings. I have a Nvidia Geforc...

Re: [WEAPON] Ba Gua Dao
I've added this sword to the community content browser! It's a great weapon! Thanks for adding it! Any chance we'll see a "normal" sized dao? I might give it a try some day, but I'd rather create a model for a bagua jian. The same person who owns the dao that I used as reference owns a ji...

Re: Insane FPS in 198
I don't know if this has been brought up before but ever since 198, my frame rate has skyrocketed, with numbers up to 1300. I'm scared to play the game because I fear for my processors life. Is there any way to cap the FPS during gameplay? If it helps, I have a GTX 560 Ti and a Phenom II X4 965 Bla...

Re: Campaign - Too many open files error
A public (for preorderers) bug tracker is even better. In many ways, yes. BUT, the one mentioned already exists, and the devs use it, so it is worthwhile to report to. I don't deny this. I just had forgotten that I saw this email months ago mentioned on the forum or in the wiki, otherwise I would h...

Re: Campaign - Too many open files error
I get this error too. The game leaks file handles until eventually it hits a limit of open files for the process and crashes. I used ProcessMonitor to find which are the files that are leaked. They are "...\Overgrowth\Data\Scripts\enemycontrol.as.bytecode" and "...\Overgrowth\Data\Scr...

Re: Which features to focus on for near future
I'd say, more solid modding support. Basically, it should be possible to do with scripts everything that you can do in the editor Since the levels are entirely saved as xml-files, it is already more or less possible to do everything there. No idea why you'd want to miss out on the UI, but if you wa...

I'd say, more solid modding support. Basically, it should be possible to do with scripts everything that you can do in the editor, plus most more complex things that are currently hardcoded in the engine.

Re: Custom Unique Animation sets
This is cool. But I think weapon animations will be a big problem. As far as I can tell, weapon animations override character animations and there is no way to have different animations with the same weapon for different characters. Which is really stupid actually, I hope David will change it at som...

Re: Community Content Browser Update List
Have you thought about providing an upload functionality for custom content? It would be much easier on you if content contributors can just upload their content themselves. You could create upload accounts by request or use the forum accounts (if this is possible). Each upload account could map to ...

Re: I may sound like an idiotic asshole, BUT
I think Karel's frustration comes from the fact that lately development seems to have slowed down a lot, while at the same time David and Aubry create polished-looking games in weeks. In this situation it is easy to conclude that the developers could make a lot of progress if they invested in the ma...

2) Someone said (in this thread or another, I don't remember) they saw evidence in the code that there was some disabled functionality to spawn weapons. As far as I can say, there is no such thing. If someone wants to correct me, please point out the exact location in the code. I have looked into t...
