Additions to Lugaru 2-Airborne Attacks

I'm not quite sure why it took me so long to think of this... Air attacks were the one thing that felt lacking. All you could really do was land on a guy. Maybe if there were a way to control your jumping height (I mean like rather than high or super high, hop or normal jump.) You could hop and do a...

I don't think Lugaru would really fit on any console, but if it did, it would have to be the Wii 2. :P

Great, I love it! Maybe, every now and then, as it becomes relevant, you could explain a part of his past, like the beginning of Lost, where they leave you wondering for a while. Man, if you did that it would be sweet.

You're talking about cubic reflection mapping. Cube mapping itself is just mapping textures onto the surface of a cube. Cubic reflection mapping is mapping textures onto the surface of a cube and taking the result as a reference value for orthogonal light rays. Hmmm... Yeah, you're right, I don't r...

@zat: A cubemap is when you apply a certain kind of texture that acts as faux specularity. An object with a cubemap appears shiny when it really just has a specially treated texture over it that moves to stay oriented to its original position. http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/4117/h5xw8.th.jpg In th...

Well, Lugaru and SOS use the same engine, don't they? So this could mean that some of the things supported in SOS are supported in Lugaru. If not cupemapping, maybe something else. Edit: I realize that David probably spiffed it up a bit, but it could still happen, right? right? I want shiny rocks an...

SOS+Lugaru=Shiny Bunnies?

From what I've seen between SOS and Lugaru, they seem to share the same engine. (Though this has been said as well.) Doesn't this mean that Lugaru supports cubemapped models? That would open up so many new possibilities. You could cubemap the blocks and have a metal world, or do it to T, to give the...

HYF did THAT?

Hmmm... They've always been so reliable before. I hope that you can get it to download. Trust me, they're safe. I've used them before.

So, comments, feedback? How'd you like the fun with dialogues #1? :D

I'm updating the map pack again to include 2 new maps: Another fun with dialogues, and a vaguely useful one, where a rabbit and a wolf recite every dialogue sound, stating it as they do. Who knows, maybe it will come in handy?

Yes indeedy, hehe. I hope the fire didn't show up in that version. Also, how are the enemies at finding their way out of the tunnel? @Silb: You're right; Man, how did I forget about that. First post has been updated with new fox level and fox skin. The fox applies like clothing. Invertin, keep refre...

I posted a topic about this a while ago, but it wasn't all that great. One thing that works for me is the leg swipe reversal/stab. First, you reverse a wolf leg swipe. (Slomo helps) Then, while he's down, walk over, crouch, and attack. This stabs and kills the wolf. (It works better with a sword.) T...

Map Pack, With Foxes!

Remember me, the guy who walked off, ranting about the glories of a new campaign? Well, it wasn't Silb... I've basically given up on the campaign, but I did make some pretty nice maps that I'd like to share, and I also included one that shows the fun of dialogues. Also, on a sidenote: Anyone know th...
