I actually don't like those ideas. Maybe some sort of maps can be placed inside levels themselves, but your version of map implementation is not a good idea for this game - it will completely brake no-hud aesthetic. And TKN... Are you even serious? Other guns? Clear parts and weak points? Aesthetics...
