As everyone else has said, amazing work. Since you're just using a single cylinder as combination cartridge/bullet, being able to pick them back up and reload them into the magazines would be nice.

It's supposed to be a (somewhat) normal person, not a american revolutionary war soldier. oh man, that's it. that's the full-size receiver game; the history of small arms, starting with a rock, learning to throw it, moving onto bow and arrow, muzzle-loaders, etc. hidden secret super-weapons/powerup...

Volley guns. Modding the revolver into a volley gun was easier than I expected (although still not perfectly happy with it yet, presently the toggle is just independent of everything else when I really wanted it to function like a secondary hammer), but I have no modelling ability nor source for goo...

The way receiver is currently set up, with instant mag loading and cumbersome switching, I don't think would actually make for fun deathmatch (if anything it should be the other way around). 1. Wouldn't be that difficult, maybe a minute or two of editing the level generation scripts. I don't think so. The way the game generates seems to be a random lineup of pre-existing "squares." Since almost every "square" has lights in it, you'd have to actually edit those squar...

Adding firearms with multiple independent consumable parts (like the separate powder/bullet/cap of a caplock) would be interesting. Not sure how to handle powder, though, unless you also add a powderhorn item. For a more practical modern example this could allow something like a rifle-grenade attach...
