Ah Psychonauts - how I love thee... Gothic II is also good, though I have yet to complete it (its hard - I mean *really* hard) and has a very impressive atmosphere. If Oblivion had felt as alive as Gothic II (and a lesser degree III) then it would have been much, much more enjoyable. All these games...

Why the hell do I read forums? Don't we all have things to acheive with our lives? Goddamnit. If my GF and I weren't having trouble right now (which I still think we can solve with some silk rope or cuffs) I'd just wonder upstairs. There is little more depressing than seeing potentially intelligent ...

Fallout & Fallout 2 Rarely do games have that much depth of choice and character - very impressive stuff. And the only game in which I've ever been forced to marry an aggressive lesbian! :D Mount & Blade is also good - but is more like Pirates! with horses and mail than a classic narrative d...

I like cats. Aside from the occasional present they neglect to eat themselves (and the surreal parts leftover) there is something disturbing yet awesome about that whole hunter instinct. And at least they do actually eat what they kill, unlike some other hunters. So, now we need to record police car...

Indeed, I am hoping for some kind of progress update over the summer. Its just nice to hear when promising projects are making progress, as so many seem to fall flat on their faces and fail.

I don't think I've ever heard a rabbit make a noise... But so long as there is a little more variation in the animal vocalisations I think I personally would prefer that. As Rudel_IC says, its more unique and fits with the anthropromorphic theme much better IMO than trying to put very human voices o...

C'mon this isn't difficult.

Firstly, Gray is a guy; and secondly, Gray is a Timelord.

It explains pretty much everything! Two hearts, knowledge and language outside of human understanding, and the twisted generosity to save people without caring about them at all.

um, I'd rather keep it to like....alien aliens.....little less racist.... al·ien –noun 1. a resident born in or belonging to another country who has not acquired citizenship by naturalization (distinguished from citizen). 2. a foreigner. 3. a person who has been estranged or excluded. 4. a creature...

Xen is alien. Alien means the unknown. Xenocide is killing that you do not know (people from other cultures, backgrounds, new species etc) and is normally a result of xenophobia . Like most things ending in "-cide", it is bad for everyone involved. So sayeth the General Andriod Generated ...

Is that the original text adventure "Adventure" in diagramatic form?

If so - genius :), I never did get out of that damn maze

Edit:

Deep magic referance makes me think of Narnia and now i'm all confused

It is actually quite easy to kill some one, Especially absentmindedly. Its rather hard the first time you kill anything, you even at times start viewing yourself as a monster. But if you keep up the flow of killing, like one of my friends did for his career, it can be addictive. Y'know its shit-tal...

I turn my back for five minutes and suddenly you're all talking zombies?! I'll round up my views on this (incase they haven't been made fairly clear); violence is utterly unacceptable. Given that people are violent however, I do support defence of ones self and of others that are clearly not aggress...
