There are no Steam codes for Overgrowth yet, but Steam has promised Wolfire that every person that pre-orders will receive a Steam key to unlock it. The game will probably make an appearance on Steam when it is closer to being finished. We are still in early alpha phase at this point.

I wouldn't expect any kinds of discount this year, or even next... the game is still in alpha, and they can't afford to discount it before there is a product to sell...

Heh... you could always gift it to someone else...
