Re: Random animations
I've got CS4, but honestly, the layout is so immensely aggravating that I've given it up for MX 2004. Wish I had an animation to share. I have one I made about 4 years ago I think. The first one I actually started that had a concept. Edit: Hell, it's so old it's been lost to the depths of my computer.

Re: Spam bots.
We have a problem with SpamBots on another forum that I admin. So much to the point where all new members are being manually activated by admins, until we set up a filtering process. A CAPTCHA image along with a fairly straightforward question should do the job. Most generic bots can't answer CAPTCH...

Re: New audience
Really? That's pretty good then. From what I saw in videos, it seemed to just open and close. Now that you mention it, I do remember an "oooh" shape.
Still, I don't think it's necessary for OG.

Lol. I read the first few pages, then skipped to the last one, and somehow things have turned into death by various kitchen objects.

Re: New audience
Actually, what LBP did was fairly simple. It was just based on volume level of the microphone. You could get really fancy and get a program to learn the lip syncing for each word, but that would be a bit much.
Plus, voiced Turner machinima would be kind of creepy.

Sounds more like a parenting problem to me. I can't fathom what his parents are thinking, if they're giving him their tax benefits.

Re: Overgrowth Grab Moves?
:| What...? That game contains a crapload of pre-made climbing animations. I can't imagine what you were smoking to not have noticed any of them. I was talking about the climbing mostly, the climbing animations are not hard coded, its a series of points that use the IK engine to determine where the...

Re: Overgrowth Grab Moves?
In terms of movement and fluid navigation, Assassin's Creed wins hands down. I played the entire game, and I didn't see any sign of pre-made animations and everything felt extremely natural.
If there's going to be a climbing engine, it definitely needs to take some cues from this game.

The demo could easily be included in the main game as a mini-prequel, or used as the tutorial.Ozymandias wrote:I paid 30 dollars for the game. Shouldn't I get everything, story included?
