Okay, if there's only going to be one purely ranged weapon then it should be this. A good way to disable one enemy in a group before the combat begins (the advantage being that the bola doesn't occupy a hand-slot).

Re: FanArt Character Turtle dude
@Nextbam: I should try out those programs to that extent as well one day, I'm stuck in the same rut with Maya and Mudbox mostly. Would be cool if you'd do some documentation of your work so please do :) @Korban3: Sorry for not replying! My head has been obscured by the last big game project these fe...

Really nice work Nextbam, I'm totally loving the folds in the fabric and the definition of the muscles!

Re: FanArt Character Turtle dude
Why? Why does everyone's models have to have such nice looking textures? Huh? Oh yeah, it's because I didn't sculpt in details or make normal maps. :? I really oughta learn how to bake a highres mesh to a lower res one so I can do stuff like that. And if I could bake ambient occlusion maps for the ...

I'm somewhat jealous of idea of composition that you have, I have some real struggle finding good, interesting poses. For example the first image you uploaded with the two ...

Re: New Creature
Creating a panda would be easy to do since it's a simple texture change, think of how Blizzard does with their assets and you'' understand.
Re: Fan Art
Dude, you're awesome. Thanks for all the great images! Going to work on the basic blueprint of the naked model first but that's awesome inspiration to make the armour better, can't say I feel all that well about the current one but I think those new reference-images might spice things up a bit. And ...
Re: Fan Art
Hey guys, I'm planning on at least giving the concept of the bear-race that was featured a while ago a go at becoming a real model. So I'm just asking right here if you have any cool ideas or concepts of any sort I'm willing to take those ideas and see what I can do with them. Now since it's turning...

Bears really are strange, I don't think there's too many creatures that can do that! I for one would go unconscious after the first swing for example!
